Paper Prototype

The Big Idea: Describe your team's game topic. What is the most important concept you want your players to learn?Making Decisions as a Team: How did your individual ideas from Imagining Your Game come together for your team game topic?Roles & Responsibilities: Talk about your team process. Describe your specific roles, and how you work together.Research: What kind of research went into the way you will express the game topic? What sources are you using and how do you know they are reliable?Impact: Could the messages in the game concept or images in your game demo offend anyone? If so, how can you avoid this? The User Experience: Explain the game play. What actions does the player take in the game? Has this changed since you first started planning your game? Why?Mastering Flash: What Flash resources have been most helpful in your learning so far, and why? How did you locate these resources?Overcoming Challenges: What curriculum topic has been most difficult for you so far? How did you overcome this difficulty?
Our game topic is going to be strategy because its a quiz game you need your brain for this game.We want our players to learn about these woman issues so more people can help out these organizations. We talked about it and we thought well we cant really make a game out of this so we said how about a quiz game that will help people know about Jeremiah and woman social issues.Norma "me" Iam a scene designer and artist.Destiny shes also a scene designer and a artist. Ivanna is a producer and research. Our research was in i live here I give here  we found three websites that we would like to work with and Jeremiah program was the one that responded back. This game would not offend nobody its going to provide information for them. Our game player would read a little about the information and then will take a quiz.Nothing has change because we don't have all of our ides yet. We haven't worked with flash yet but im guessing everything would work to help us out.

Plan Team Game

Is your team game a good learning game? Why? What would you add to the Hobo's Journey game to improve it? What would you add to the Larry game to improve it?
Yes our team game is a good learning game topic because I really haven't seen a game about  woman issues so I want our game to be one of a kind game .We are making this game for a organization called Jeremiah program so of course its a good topic. Our game is going to be like a quiz but in a fun way not like the other quizzes their plain and boring. Our players would learn more about this social issue and will probably volunteer to help these woman and we will make a change. "Hobos Journey" what I will add to this game is more questions and more color the game has the same character they could change that this issue doesn't  have  one character."Larry's game " what I would add or make some changes to is that they should of made them into levels instead of three different sections.I would of put more of the movie effect to the game like in the beginning were Larry tells his story .Their both good games!.

Imagine Team Game

WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.) How will you make sure your game is not hurtful to any group of people? We are creating this game for the Jeremiah program which is a social issue .Well any age can play this game to learn more about them.I will make sure my game is not hurtful by letting an adult play it before anybody else will to see if it do not  hurt woman or kids.
WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific.)If you are making a social issue game, how will you show multiple perspectives?Well we really don't know how our game is going to look yet.But its going to teach people about this organization.
WHERE does your game happen?Describe the world you will design for your game. How will this setting add to the learning experience?Well how I told you we really don't know what our game really will look like but eventually will find out.
HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? What happens in the world that helps the player learn? How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game? Our game will teach of how woman issues are and will teach them more about it.They will probably learn more and think about what they do  twice. They could use it in the real world and their will be less woman issues.

Choose Team Game Topic

We our team has picked "Women social issues" .Jeremiah program was the only organization that responded back to us .Jeremiah program was our second choice of working with our games. Our decisions or options were "Woman's Issues" or "Homelessness" we all had these organizations in common and we decided we will like to work with woman issues. We wanted to work with this issue because we haven't heard or seen that many organizations for woman I would surely like to make a great game for them.
