March Of The Penguin

1)The penguins  have to overcome the challenges of food and coldness.

2)Their live hood is how cold it is and how cold it is for their baby'.

3)Penguins need their parents to cover them by going under them. They could survive the predators by running away. 

4)Well it affects the climate by when theirs no sunlight then they cant get warmness. It also affects it when their is sunlight because it breaks the ice down and the penguins wont have a place to live in.


5)It needs to be frozen because then if theirs no place to mate then the penguin population will go down.

Gamers Solve Scientific Problems

How did gamers use the computer gameFoldit to solve the protein folding mystery?

"Danger Of a Single Story"

Chimamanda Adichie the  name of the women. Chimamanda Adichie is a story teller started writing and reading at age seven.All the books she had read had white people until finally  found Afro American literature. Her roommate thought that she didnt  know how to use the things that  she knows how to use (American  roommate). She went to mexico (Guadalajara).She read that immigrants are getting arrested and they are crossing the border and escaping from health care.They are regular people and she felt  bad because she was acting like her american roommate and being mean .She knew that they over exactgirating.

What is a cyberbully?
A cyberbully is a person that is on the Internet, and that texts mean stuff  or pertends that they are someone else.


What are the different types of cyberbullying?
The different type of cyberbullying is when you are on the Internet and when you text.


What should you do if you are being cyberbullied?
The first thing you should do is tell a trusted family member or a trusted teacher or a trusted friend then you should block the person that is bothering you.


What are some reasons that people cyberbully others?
They cyberbully because they want to have revenge because they probably have been bullied before or they are jealous.


What is the result of the cyberbully experiences?
Bad and sad.

She expierenses threw the internet.

I will tell a trusted adult and then block that person and try to do something about it.

Schlitterbahn

OMG!!!!! This friday Iam going to schlitterbahn its going to be the best.Iam going because I didnt get eny refferals this smester and Iam proud.I cant wait till we go because I get to get out school and get to have fun with some of my friends because not all my friends are going.I feel sorry for the people that are not going.I cant wait iam so exited.Well cant wait till school is over thats it.BYE!!!!!!!!!.   :)

Apollo 13

My thougths are that the movie apollo 13 is awsome.Apollo 13 is cool and sad because they went to space and they came home safe but withiout being in the moon. They spend 7 days in space with danger.This movie was cool and by the end everybody was worried because it took about 4 minutes for them to answer and it was suppose to take 3 minutes. 

The Lightning Theif chapter 1

Well yesterday we started reading the ligthning thief and thats my first time reading it and its awsome.The beggining of chapter 1 is about when they go to the museum and they studie about some kind of stuff. The middle of chapter 1 is about when they are eating and  nancy starts bothering grover and Percy jackson.The end is about when they star fighting and the teacher gets mad and then she turned into a ugly thing.

Wow finally we are finished with our game .Iam very happy that we finished because we worked hard on our game and we needed a break of it.Iam also sad because we wont be working on flash that much no more.The expierences that I have of working by  my self was that I did a great job.Something Iam proud of  me and my game because I got to the nominies and my prize is going to the space center (NASA) in Houston.I really dint think I was going to make it to the nominies.I thougth my game was not worth nothing but I guess it is.Something I learned about myself is that I could do it.That I have to belive in myself.Well Iam SOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Stand And Deliver

My thougths on the movie are ............ Well I think the movie is about race because they all had Mexican names that's why I think its about race.I also think is about working together because they worked together to pass the test because they thougth they all cheated.I also think that its about bravery because the teacher stands for his kids ( STUDENTS ).That all I think about the movie.BYE!!!!!!!!!!!

The Big Test

The taks is coming OMG I cant believe its next week.Well I am scared to do it because Iam thinking I am not  going to pass.Iam also exited because I want to get over it .Iam going to try my best and try to pass the TAKS.Well Iam going to eat McDonald's in the morning Iam not sure about the evening.Well I cant wait Well BYE!!!!!!

iPads for kids

Ipads are cool my opinion is that instead of reading our text book we should get the ipads.It will be fun to get  some ipads.Some advantages are they need to really take care  of them.Some disadvanteges are that what if they figth over them and they end up breaking them. Also is that maybe you could be some wher ur not suppouse to be.I wish our school had ipads so it could be  MORE FUN!!!!!!!!!<3.

Game Demo Progress

The progress that Iam making is going good so far.Some things that I had learned are how to keep my files orginaized instead of having them all mess up or all over the place.I have acomplished some stuff but not all but Iam still proud of my self.Some things that are hard or that I cant do are like when I write my words and I test movie they go over all the other words.But seens I have been doing my game and game demo Iam proud.

Audience:Iam designing it for kids from grade 5 through 7.Gameplay: My game is about a monkey waiting for you to give it the rigth decimal banana.You win by giving the monkey the rigth decimal banana.

Learning Goal: They will learn new fractions and the equal decimal that they had never seen before.Math will be fun and you would make it tech something.

Fun Factor: If you like feeding cute monkeys then this is the rigth game for you because you get to feed the monkey  the good banana.

Smart Factor: My game teaches kids new fractions and decimals.

Style Factor: I would use a colorfull and happy game.It also would have happy songs that the kids like.

Originality Factor: My game is special because Iam working really hard on it and you would be happy to play and give a monkey a bananana so it could eat and be happy like you are going to be too.     :)

Playing Games To Get Ideas

Today we were playing game in cool math.We were playing because we are getting ideas from the games that are already made So we could make it interesting.Some of the games that I played were called meeblings,and rotate and roll.Some ideas that I got were that to make it interesting to add color.Also to add some kind of sound and to put the levels.Also to make it with some stradegys.

What I learned about doing my game was how to put the instance name.What I also learned was how to drag my banana to my monkey.But something that I hate is how to drop.I wanna say thank you to Karla because she helped me a little.How I feel is Happy But Frustrated because I can drop. :)

A Visit From The President

I think that Tech Boston Academy  is lucky because Obama got to go to that school.think Obama should come to our school because we are as educated as they are.Also we are East Austin College Prep Academy.We are Prep Academy kids and we are as good as Tech Boston Academy  .Its worth him visiting because We are the best Prep Academy school ever.

  I played in cool math.I got some ideas for my game .Some of the ideas are to put a cool background and some music.Also to let it be interesting and competitive.The game I played was copter it is really competitive and challenge.

Today we watched the movie whatever it takes.The movie was about a girl going to a school called bronx.Her mom dint want her daugther to end up like her.Because when her mom was little she got hit for getting in trouble.Sharifea got in trouble and suspended.Sharifea passed her test.

Spring break

My plans are to stay home and sleep OMG nothing to do.AGGGGHHHHHH have HOMEWORK for Ms.Estrada and Ms.Bailey BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Its suppose to be spring BREAK not SPRING HOMEWORK.AGGGGGHHHHH I want to see cookie monster. Future

In five years I will be 16 and in Austin High studding to be a pediatrician.In ten years I will be 21 and will be working as a pediatrician.In 15 years I will be 26 year old and will still be working as a pedetrition.Then I need to live more years and live life.Then I will rest in peace.

The prototype did help me a lot. The prototype was like a preview of my other game.My thougths on it was that its awsome because it helps you a lot . Also helps you think of what you are going to do to your game. It also made it easier because you think of all your thougths and then you could put them  into your game

My game is called monkey went bannanas.
The monkey thinks about a fraction and the bannana has a decimal and you have to give the monkey the rigth bannana in the mouth.

Black history month performance

My toughts on the performance was awesome their was dancing ,raping.The boys did really good they dance the best that I have ever seen.The raping was also the best the girl did good and she took christian up he was embarrassed.Also the East Austin College Prep Academy students did a really good job on the rap also Ms.Villarreal did a really good job.Also the man that was saying the words really fast that was cool.The girl that was dancing was also cool she did weird moves but their cool.

Their was lots of people walking with Malcolm x.Malcolm asked Betty to get married with him and she said yes so they are married and they have six children in total. Malcolm made lots of speeches with African American people because they want justice.This white girl was trying to help Malcolm x but he refused to.The bad people kept calling Malcolm.

More Thoughts On Globoloria

My thoughts before we started  were that technology sounded boring but exiting at the same time.I also thought  that it was going to be hard. Technology is fun and exiting . It is hard a little but when you dont pay attention. You learn lots of things by doing technology.

Mad Hot Ball Room

The main idea is about the little kids having a competition of dance. They were learning to dance better since they were one of the groups that won to finals.They went to the finals they were the ones that  got a golden ribbon. They were one of the three groups that have been selected to win the big thing so they had to do two more dances and they had to see who got picked so they were waiting for the results and indigo won the big price.Indigo were happy that they won for all the hard work they deserve that.

Friday

Today is Friday fun.Today Iam going home and getting on the computer.On Saturday is boring day because their is nothing to do. Sunday I might go and sell cookies and get my cookies.

Malcom x is a story about a man telling how his dad died.When they were little his dad died and they were going to take their kids away.The mom was send to the crazy home thing because she went cu cu for her kids.The mans that were robbing so they had to go to jail for lots of years.The woman also went to jail like for two years.

The Pact

What I learned about the pact was to go to college.Also that you could go to college no matter where your at.Also that it don't matter what your gender or race is .No I did not make no connections to the movie pact to my life.No I do not have any questions about the movie pact.

Winter Brake

My winter brake was awesome for Christmas we did a big party for baby Jesus it was fun because we had a disco ball and put it on and everybody started dancing like crazy animals.for new years we also did a big party and it was fun because we ate and lots of people were dancing and falling( HAHAHA). I`am glad put at the same time I`am not. Iam glad because I get to see my friends but Iam also not glad because we have to do work I don't like work.
